1. Who we are

Got UR Job ("we", "us") is a recruitment and staffing business with its head office at 520 Mattaur Rd, Sector 71, SAS Nagar (Mohali), Punjab 160071, India. We operate the website at www.goturjob.in.

2. What we collect

We collect only what is needed to match candidates with employers and to run our recruitment service:

• Candidate data — name, email, phone, city and country, job title, experience, skills, preferred roles and countries, expected salary, and your resume file.
• Application data — which role you applied to, any note you write to the recruiter, the stage of your application, interview dates and recruiter notes.
• Employer data — company name, contact name, work email, phone, country, city, industry, website, company size and hiring requirements.
• Premium data — the details you submit when requesting Premium membership, including your requirement and any payment reference you provide.
• Enquiry data — messages you send through our contact, employer or international enquiry forms.
• Technical data — standard server and browser information needed to deliver the site securely.

We do not ask for, and do not want, sensitive categories of data such as health information, religion, caste or political views. Please do not include them in a resume or message.

3. Why we use it

• To assess your profile against live vacancies and put you forward to relevant employers.
• To contact you about an application, interview, offer or Premium membership.
• To quote and deliver recruitment services to employers.
• To verify compliance requirements where a role is in another country, such as right-to-work status or licence eligibility.
• To keep records of placements, invoicing and our legitimate business administration.
• To prevent fraud and misuse of the site.

Where the law requires a legal basis, we rely on your consent (for submitting a profile or resume), the performance of a contract or pre-contract steps (for a specific application), and our legitimate interests in running a recruitment business.

4. Who we share it with

We share candidate information with a specific employer when you apply to that employer’s role, or when you ask us to represent you. We do not sell personal data.

We also use service providers who process data on our behalf — website hosting, database and file storage, email and messaging — under instructions that limit their use to providing that service. Payment for Premium membership is handled by our consultants and, where enabled, by a payment processor; we never store your card details.

We may disclose information where required by law, by a regulator, or to establish or defend a legal claim.

5. Resumes and file storage

Resumes are stored as private files on our hosting platform. We keep only a reference to the stored file against your application or profile — we do not copy the file content into our database. File access is restricted and is used only for recruitment purposes.

If file upload is unavailable, the site tells you so and offers WhatsApp or email instead. In that case we may hold the resume in that channel, subject to the same rules in this policy.

6. Cookies and local storage

We use strictly necessary storage to run the site. With your consent we may also use optional analytics. Your language and currency preferences, and your cookie choice, are stored in your browser’s local storage on your device — not in our database.

7. International transfers

Recruitment is inherently cross-border: if you apply for a role in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, the UK, Canada, Europe or Australia, your profile is shared with that employer and, where relevant, with a government authority as part of a visa or licence process.

Our own systems are hosted on infrastructure that may process data outside your country. Where we transfer data internationally, we take reasonable steps to ensure it remains protected to a standard consistent with this policy.

8. How long we keep data

• Active candidate profiles — while you remain an active candidate, or until you ask us to delete them.
• Applications — for the duration of the recruitment process and a reasonable period afterwards for record-keeping and disputes.
• Placement records — retained as long as required for invoicing, tax and legal obligations.
• Enquiries that do not proceed — deleted or anonymised once no longer needed.

9. Your rights

You may ask us to:

• Access the personal data we hold about you.
• Correct anything inaccurate.
• Delete your profile, applications and resume.
• Withdraw consent to future processing, including being contacted about new roles.
• Object to or restrict certain processing.
• Receive a copy of the data you gave us in a portable format.

Email kuldeep.singh@goturjob.in with the subject "Data request" and the email or phone number you used with us. We aim to respond within 30 days. We may ask you to verify your identity first so that we do not disclose your data to someone else.

Deleting your data removes you from consideration for open roles. It does not affect an application already submitted to an employer, where that employer is the controller of the copy they received — contact them directly for that copy.

10. Security

We use HTTPS, access-controlled admin tools and private file storage for resumes, and we limit access to personal data to the staff and recruiters who need it for their work.

No system is perfectly secure. Please avoid sending unnecessary sensitive information. If you believe your data has been compromised, contact us immediately so we can investigate.

11. Children

The service is intended for people aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a minor has submitted data, contact us and we will delete it.

12. Changes and contact

We may update this policy as the service or the law changes. The "last updated" date at the top always shows the current version, and material changes will be highlighted on this page.
